The Life Cycle Of The EAB:

Nature Walk - Understanding the Life Cycle of the EAB is an educational short which originally aired at the USDA’s Stop the Beetle website.

Produced by JMH Education, this animated short was used to teach kids about the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle, which is an invasive insect that is killing Ash trees by the millions. During a nature walk, a class of children come across a green beetle which they learn is endangering the very trees around them. They go on to learn that the best way to stop the EAB from spreading is to keep their firewood local, or as the kids like to say, “Burn it where you buy it!”

2A! wrote, designed, and animated this 4-minute short.
